Owner’s Background
Pinar Akten is skilled international trade professional, with over 9 years’ experience, has excellent and extensive knowledge of import and export compliance and control processes and procedures.
Ms. Akten will use her 9+ combined years of experience, gained from working with different companies in different industries including food, retail, household appliances, construction and manufacturing to assist her clients with their global growth.
Ms. Akten earned her bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering in 2006.
She holds her master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at University of Wales, in 2010.
Having MBA degree provides Pinar Akten with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to run a successful business and allows her to better oversee and lead every aspect of her new company.
Another advantage to earning MBA is its versatility. It is an umbrella that covers a wide range of topics and develops entrepreneurial, problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, decision-making and project management skills that allows graduates to evaluate markets and therefore better respond to the threats and opportunities that emerge when things change. The curriculum covers all aspects of business environment in a constantly changing world, giving a real insight into industries. Each module consisted of something different which will help Pinar Akten in running her company, September Lane Ltd., including marketing, operation management and process management.
